How Do Teachers Feel About Their Jobs & the Impact of AI? New Survey Has AnswersÂ
A new piece of the technology puzzle is generative AI, which has come to the forefront of K-12 conversation in the past year. This year’s Educator Confidence Report finds that educators are looking for guidance on using AI and recognising its transformative possibilities. More than half of the educators surveyed (57%) agreed that generative AI is inevitable and should be harnessed positively in the classroom, and 58% said they would be interested in professional development and coaching around this new technology.
ChatGPT's First Year: Udemy Data Highlights Global Demand for Generative AI SkillsÂ
Udemy data collected between ChatGPT’s launch on November 30, 2022, through October 31, 2023, indicate how this new technology has been leveraged globally over the last year. Nearly 800 instructors created and published more than 1,000 courses related to ChatGPT on the Udemy platform, with more than 2.2 million enrolments. The top-ten industries where organisations are empowering their employees with generative AI skills are: Professional Services, Consulting Services, Technology, Manufacturing, Retail, Financial Services, Entertainment & Media, Education, Government and Life Sciences. The most popular generative AI courses focus on Midjourney, AI art, Python, and ChatGPT prompts.

Augment has recently raised a $6 million seed round led by RTP Global with other funds also participating, such as Motier Ventures, Origins Fund, Kima Ventures, Bpifrance and Financière Saint James.
Toddl.co raised a €500k pre-seed round led by the impact venture capital fund Fondo Bolsa Social and supported by Banco Sabadell’s BStartup.
Fuxam announced a €500k seed round. The money comes from different business angels across Germany.
Nolej has raised €3m from Educapital and Square Knowledge Ventures.
MySalesCoach has landed a £700,000 seed investment from the North East Innovation Fund and angel investors.
