LinkedIn Skills on the Rise 2025: The 15 fastest-growing skills in the US
LinkedIn’s latest report highlights a striking trend: the fastest-growing skills aren’t just technical but deeply human. While AI and data analysis continue to rise, so do communication, leadership, and adaptability—suggesting that success in the AI era will hinge on blending tech proficiency with interpersonal expertise. The list also reflects shifting workforce priorities, with sustainability and emotional intelligence gaining traction. Rather than AI replacing jobs outright, LinkedIn’s insights suggest that those who can work alongside it—leveraging both hard and soft skills—will be best positioned for the future.
The Future Of Education: Will AI Be The Great Equalizer?
In her recent Forbes piece, Cornelia Walther explores whether AI will truly level the playing field in education or reinforce existing inequalities. While AI-driven personalization has the potential to democratize learning, access to quality AI tools remains uneven, favoring those with better resources. Walther highlights the risk of AI amplifying biases rather than eliminating them, raising questions about who controls the algorithms shaping future generations. The article challenges the assumption that more technology automatically means more equity, making a compelling case for thoughtful implementation over blind adoption.
Seeking a Solution to the Skilled Labor Shortage? XR Marks the Spot.
BCG’s latest report explores how extended reality (XR) could be the key to addressing the growing skilled labor shortage. With industries struggling to fill critical roles, XR-powered training offers a scalable way to upskill workers faster and more effectively than traditional methods. The technology’s ability to provide hands-on, immersive learning could bridge experience gaps and make complex skills more accessible. Examples of companies in this space include KIT-AR, an augmented worker platform for the manufacturing industry, which last year announced a 3.3m round.
